What should I Wear?

If we had to label it, we’d call it “festive attire.” Wear clothes (and shoes) that make you feel like celebrating and dancing (the photo booth won’t show your shoes).

Examples:

• Suit sans tie (or with tie); slacks with a blazer; a vest; a fun bowtie

• A fun cocktail dress; that jumpsuit you’ve been waiting for the right time to wear; flats or sneakers to change into.

Where is the Ceremony Taking Place?

We are getting married on July 12th in Becky’s parents’ backyard in front of immediate family. From day one, it’s been important to us to keep the vows very intimate. But we can’t wait to celebrate our marriage with all of you!

Will Transportation be Provided Between the Hotel and Reception?

The 1 Hotel is conveniently located just over the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan in Brooklyn Heights. Taxis / Ubers / Lyfts from The Moxy to the 1 Hotel should take about 10-15 minutes. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also take the A or C trains from Fulton Street to High Street or the 1 or 2 trains from Fulton Street to Clark Street.

Are Kids Welcome?

We love your little ones, but this event is adults-only so we can all relax and enjoy the festivities.

Are There Other Events?

We will have casual welcome drinks on Friday the 26th at a location TBD. The event is not mandatory – if you can’t make it, no worries, we’ll see you on Saturday! We will let you enjoy your own Sunday mornings.

Will There Be Vegetarian Options?

Yes! We’ll have vegetarian-friendly food, including a vegetarian option for dinner (tell your server).
